About KAL Training


KAL Training is a Registered Training Organisation that delivers Nationally Recognised Training that leads to the issue of qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework. KAL Training has a reputation for delivering quality educational programs and services to a diverse range of clients.

Our organization caters for the one to one and small group training situations to large seminar conferences on Multimedia, Information Technology and Work Based Training.

KAL's teaching staff are recognised for their expertise and are skilled in competency based training techniques. They are empathatic and understand of the needs of people from many diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. They are also familiar with working towards the needs of what many corporations in different industries are looking for.

Access and Equity


KAL Training cater for people with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, allowing for reasonable adjustment with assessment for all people who are disadvantaged due to disability, mature age, LL&N and those with a foreign background. Students who require special needs for learning are to include details in their enrolment form and will be required to see the Equity Officer regarding their needs.

Purpose

KAL Training values your privacy. As a result KAL has adopted the following Privacy Policy, which is applicable to all information that you provide to KAL whether the information is provided through KAL’s enrolment process, during your course or under the conditions of your employment. This policy is to support KAL Training's compliance to the Australian Privacy Principles. KAL is committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of the information it collects through its operations.

KAL Training follows the Federal Government's 13 Australian privacy principles (APP) derived from the Privacy Act 1988 (and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing privacy protection) Act 2012 that come into effect on the 12th of March 2014.

As quality providers of tertiary education, we fully support the new guidelines outlined in the Codes, which strengthen the transparency of student recruitment practices and set a process of continuous improvement on the delivery and learning outcomes of our training.

Staff


Our trainers have years of experience in both their respective training Industries and also in the Vocational Education and Training environment. Trainers come from a range of work backgrounds including film directors, childcare centre directors, website developers, small business owners, secondary and tertiary teachers. Trainers and staff are also trained in counseling, management and student support.

They have worked with students from a diverse range of backgrounds from Koories, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, people with disabilities, those returning to the workplace and the retaining of business staff with the changes in technology.
Our Staff have had extensive industry experience in the communications, Education and Community Services, Multimedia and Information Services (Library) sectors.

They have extensive experience in Equal Opportunity confidentiality and empathy as well as duty of care.
