KAL Training offers the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services which reflects the role of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, coordinating and/or delivering of services catered to individuals, groups and communities. This comprehensive course is designed by professionals in accordance with industry needs and demands where you will learn and be equipped with the right strategies and skills to assist, advise, nurture and promote an individual’s well-being. Our highly-experienced faculty at KAL Training deliver quality training along with a holistic approach, provide you one-on-one training, guidance and industry relevant knowledge helping you to flourish in the ever-evolving community sector.

At this level, workers possess specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Community Workers are usually providing direct support including social, emotional, psychological and practical support to individuals or groups of individuals thereby making a genuine difference in their lives. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

Entry Requirement

As such there are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre-Training Review. This will determine a candidate’s suitability and relevance for the course and identification of any support required. A current Police Check and approved Working with Children Check is required before undertaking placement.

Education Pathways

On successful completion of this qualification learners will have satisfied all requirements and components and will have the knowledge and skills required to progress through to CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management or -related courses.
